Parent Support Group
BACHs parent
support group meetings provide a support system for families,
giving parents the emotional and educational assistance
they need in dealing with the hard choices and everyday
challenges that come with raising a child with special needs.
The Parent and Professional Support Group
for children withand delay or disability was developed in February
of 2007 and has served many caregivers to date.
The meetings are held at the BACH facility in Angleton once
a month on Monday evenings on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.
Families involved in this support group meet casually in the sensory clinic area with their special needs child and his/her sibling(s).
This group time allows the children to engage in sensory
rich activities while the parents are networking and receiving
valuable information.
