Groups
BACHs parent group meetings provide
a support system for families, giving parents the
emotional and educational assistance they need in dealing
with hard choices and everyday challenges that come with
raising a child with special needs.
BACH currently offers two support groups, one for parents
and professionals of children with an Autism
Spectrum Disorder and one for parents and professionals
of children with Down Syndrome. Both meetings are held at
the BACH facility in Angleton once a month on Monday evenings.
See the BACH Calendar for upcoming meeting dates and times.
In addition to the Professional and Parent Support Groups,
BACH offers a Therapy Play Group for children
with special needs and their siblings to engage in sensory
rich activities while the parents are attending a support
group meeting. The Therapy Play Group is a fun, interactive
sensory environment for children to explore and socially
engage with others.
